MatchScript is a reader-supported, independent matchmaker. When you get matched to a provider and sign up through our link, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. That commission funds our research and the ongoing re-verification of provider pricing, and keeps the quiz free. Here is exactly how it works, in plain terms.
Partner vs. editorial
We have affiliate partnerships with some, but not all, of the providers we cover. Every provider on the site carries a label:
- Partner — we earn a commission if you sign up through our link, and we may give them promotional emphasis (for example, a featured card). These are always labeled.
- Editorial — we have no commercial relationship with this provider. We score and rank them anyway, because a matchmaker that only shows paying partners isn't worth your trust.
The scores are independent. The quiz is auditable.
Each provider's six factor sub-scores — and the Match Score built from them — are editorial judgment applied under the same rubric for everyone. See our methodology. A commercial relationship never changes a sub-score. The quiz only reweights those fixed numbers to your answers, and it prints the exact weighting it used, so you can check our work. What a partnership can influence is promotional emphasis — featured cards, how often we write about a provider — and we label that emphasis wherever it appears.
Who we are
MatchScript is operated by an independent publisher. We are not a medical provider, pharmacy, or telehealth company, and we are not affiliated with any provider or drug manufacturer beyond standard affiliate agreements. We do not cover every provider in the market; the ones we include reflect our editorial priorities and reader interest.
